• Crafted from ultra-high-quality silk twill, with rich texture and weight—many earlier versions used silk from mulberry moth cocoons imported from China or Brazil. 

• Design process is extremely intricate: each pattern can incorporate dozens of printed colours, and one scarf may require hundreds of hours of screen-printing, engraving and hand-finishing. 

• Hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems are a hallmark of authenticity and craftsmanship (the edges have a distinctive roll and visible stitching)
